Valerie Morrison

Valerie Chhan Morrison is of Chinese descent, with family roots in Cambodia. In 1981, her family fled the Khmer Rouge and immigrated to the United States, where her parents built a small business that supported the family. That entrepreneurial foundation — watching her parents create opportunity from nothing — shaped Valerie's path in business and her commitment to the Asian business community in Oklahoma City.

Today, Valerie serves as Chief Operating & Financial Officer of Morrison Cup Solutions, an Edmond-based manufacturer and distributor of branded food service products, specializing in disposable cups and lids. Alongside her husband Ryan, the company's Chief Executive Officer and President, she has ledMorrison through a period of remarkable growth — including the 2019 acquisition of Creative Container, Inc., the company's 2021 rebrand, and the continued expansion of its facilities to nearly 250,000 square feet today.

Valerie's first entrepreneurial venture was L.I.C. Apparel, a clothing line she founded and led as Creative Director. She also built a strong career in finance and accounting, with roles at Bloomberg, BreitBurn Energy, and Teleflora. A licensed certified public accountant, Valerie holds a BS from the USC Marshall School of Business and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
